Today, people know RAILS clothing for its super–soft—and celebrity-adored—plaid shirts. However, the brand actually began with a black baseball hat bearing the newbie label’s logo. Created by television marketer Jeff Abrams in 2008, one of California’s biggest retailers picked up the design. Abrams gained the confidence to introduce RAILS shirts and hoodies into the lineup.
